The Victorian Society for Computers and the Law (VSCL) invites you to a webinar presented by Leah Wickman (Senior Associate at Allens) and Tom Webster (Senior Associate at Allens) on a world we have all become more familiar with over the past nine months.
The webinar will provide an overview of key intellectual property and data protection issues that arise in the alternative reality, virtual reality and gaming space.
About the presenters
Leah has worked in the tech and data space for over five years. Her current favourite VR game is Beat Saber, although she is concerned about Oculus' move to require Facebook accounts to continue using their headsets.
Tom specialises in complex legal procurement and intellectual property commercialisation. While he is knowledgeable on the legal aspects of gaming, he struggles to get past FIFA and has yet to complete a video game.
