VSCL: Webinar Invitation | Checkbox x Bumpd Showcase: Using legal technology for social change

The Victorian Society for Computers and the Law (VSCL) invites you to a webinar on how legal technology can be used to create social change, in collaboration with Checkbox and Bumpd.

Evan Wong and Minwoo Yim from Checkbox will provide an overview of their no-code workflow automation platform. Daniel Yim and Erin Kanygin from Bumpd will then present a real-life use case of how they used this technology to assist people who have lost their job due to pregnancy or parenting-related discrimination.

Daniel Yim, Co-founder and Managing Director, Bumpd

Daniel has over 10 years' experience as a corporate lawyer, including several years specialising in legal technology and innovation. Drawing on this experience, he helped create Bumpd after many people in his network found themselves without a job after falling pregnant or returning to work after parental leave.

Erin Kanygin, Co-founder and Director of Legal Technology, Bumpd

Erin has experience in automation and legal design, currently working as a Legal Transformation Lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin. She has a passion for community and expertise in numerous digital platforms. At Bumpd, she uses her knowledge in legal innovation to provide access to justice.
