ALAT Blevins entered on duty as a Special Agent (SA) of the FBI in 1991. From 1991 to 1998, he was assigned to the FBI San Diego, California Division, where he worked Violent Crime, White Collar Crime, Counterintelligence, and Cyber investigations. There, he initiated the first Cyber Investigations Squad in 1996. ALAT Blevins was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) in the National Infrastructure Protection Center at FBIHQ in Washington, DC in 2001(which evolved into the FBIHQ Cyber Division in 2002), with responsibility for Cyber investigative training and curriculum development. As a Cyber Instructor and Subject Matter Expert, he developed curriculum and provided Cyber investigative training to over 3,500 investigators and analysts, domestically and abroad, including instruction at the International Law Enforcement Academies in Hungary and Thailand. He is currently the Assistant Legal Attaché at the US Embassy Canberra, and has responsibility for the Cyber Investigative Portfolio in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
