The eager take up of the iPad and tablet computers by lawyers is not just related to the hardware but more to do with the availability of useful applications that can make the daily life of a lawyer a little more productive as far as operating in the electronic world is concerned.
Phil Farrelly, Executive Director, Auscript Technology Solutions, a long time gadget and app collector, will take us through some of the current "tools" being used in the wild and offer some advice in regard to use and security in relation to the applications available.
The session will also have a "workshop" format and input from the attendees will be invited in regard to applications or services they have found useful in their practice. We should all leave with a few hints tips and new apps to make our lives a little more interesting.
